首先“IPA训练法”是一种我们独有的备课方法，它对统一阿斯顿教师团队的授课形态有着决定作用。IPA
训练法中的I(Introduce)是过程的第一步骤。外教首先通过图片、肢体语言、和助教配合及多方式举例等方法向学生介绍所讲的内容。学生们基本不用经过助教翻译就能明白学习内容。接下来是P(Practice)练习。教师通过多种形式的听力练习、口语练习、结组练习等让学生们使用课堂中所学内容。最有趣的过程是接下来的A(Activate)游戏互动。各种各样的教学游戏和情景设计不但可以提高学生们学习英语的兴趣，同时可以帮助教师检验教学质量。

KK音标是现在的国际音标吗 KK（Kenyon and Knott）是《美式英语发音辞典》（A Pronouncing Dictionary of American English）的俗称。此本辞典在1944年首次出版，两位作者John Samuel Kenyon及Thomas A. Knott的姓都是以K开头的，所以此辞典所使用的音标一般称为KK音标。 KK是一种美式英语发音的音素音标，它所使用的符号大部分与IPA相符。
所谓的国际音标指的是应该是IPA（International Phoic Alphabet ）KK 算是一个变体，有些人和课本采用kk体系，有些习惯用IPA
